My built in oven and microwave combo stopped working. Mr. appliance came out, slid the unit out, and diagnosed that the issue was possibly a bad circuit board(s) and the fuse had blown out. they did not have the part so they ordered them and returned a few days later. the unit was slid out from the wall (4 screws) onto a stand and the $5 (maybe not even that much on amazon) fuse was replaced and a wire to the fuse holder was tightened. the circuit boards were fine and sent back to where they were bought. here is the issue. the cost- to slide the unit out twice and put in a fuse- was $700! i was never given an estimate though the final bill said i was given an estimate. i called and was told $700 was the number for a $5 fuse, and pulling the unit out to diagnose. so maybe that is the going price for this service, i really don't know, but i was expecting something significantly less. You can be the judge. So, consumer beware and get an estimate so you are not surprised by Mr. Appliance like i was. The repair guy was nice enough, but $700 seems very much overpriced to me for what was done.
