I stopped by this store today to pick up a replacement drain pump for my washer. My experience with the older gentleman on staff was incredibly unprofessional and unnecessarily tense. I was the first person in the store but the guy became pretty rude after more people walked in.
While he was in the back finding my part, another customer walked in. After coming out from the back he gave me the part and immediately moved on to help the new person leaving me just standing there waiting even though I was there first. Since the part was used and came with no warranty, I asked him to show me that it actually worked. Instead of a professional response, he got visibly frustrated, took the part back out of my hand, and told me I was "wasting his time" because he had other customers to help.
He started telling me how much the part costs brand new, acting like I should just take it and leave because of the low price. If a part is sold without a warranty, it’s only fair to show that it works before selling it. When he finally agreed to test it, the whole thing took all of 15 seconds. There was absolutely no reason to raise his voice or be rude. I’m not saying people should avoid this shop entirely and maybe the other guys are more professional, but this specific interaction was extremely disappointing. If you value basic customer service and respect for your time, be careful dealing with the older man here. I was able to fix my washer with the part he sold me though so thanks for that.
