First, I’ll go over the positive. Conway is the best salesman I have worked with. He is very customer first, and the only reason I would consider buying from RC Willey at any point in the future.
The negatives are basically everything else about my experience. The first sales gal we worked with when looking created a sales quote for a couch a lot more expensive than the one we decided on, and included the blue rewards on it. We decided to go a different route, and worked with Conway because he provided a better experience. After picking up our entertainment center and coffee table later that day, I got a call from RC Willey saying we owed them more money. I did some digging and found out that the Blue Rewards on the previous sales quote had been invoiced without my approval. (We opted for Driveway drop off since we don’t buy enough to justify the rewards) I reached out to Conway and he resolved the issue. On Saturday I called to find out an ETA on our couch delivery and was told it is at the Salt Lake Location awaiting pickup. I informed them it was supposed to be scheduled for driveway delivery. After waiting on hold, it was scheduled for delivery today. First part of the couch was great, and we brought it in. The second half the side was smashed in. We couldn’t see the damage until the plastic was off, but I had to have taken a hard impact to shatter the wood inside. Of course they had left before we found the damage, but again contacted Conway. He said he would get it resolved. My frustration is there wasn’t a way to communicate with the drivers until they checked in, and I now have a couch in front of the place I’m renting, with a wife who is disappointed and frustrated. While Conway has done everything he could and put us first, every other part of the RC Willey experience has left me feeling cheated (invoicing without my approval) and disappointed. I honestly don’t know if I can recommend doing business with RC Willey again.
