I have given every opportunity for Appliances 4 less to make this right. I have reached out several times via facebook to get an email address, or phone for an leader to communicate the issues.
We can judge a business not how things go when they are smooth and easy, but when things sometimes go wrong.
This is how you should judge this company. (note, not all involved were rough, there were a couple staff members that saw this, apologized on behalf of others.
As a repeat buyer, I reached out for a washer and dryer set. Price, delivery, and install. Things went normal but 3/10 washers the water would not drain correctly (was told I was not using it correctly) and they had installed the hot and cold backwards (ruining a few items). They did come out and swap the hot and cold fixing that issue.
Another wash resulted in some type of film . They said it was water temp, my body/sheets/lotions/etc. After a service call was put in for warranty via GE/Bodewell both explained to me that these washers are DESIGNED to handle any type of lotions, oils (no, girls are not coming out here and giving me massages...I'm gross to look at), GE assured me they wanted to keep me "In Brand" but suggested this washer (and dryer) be returned to store as GE warranty would take care of the store.
After some serious back and forth, and a trip to lowe's, I demanded they come get the washer and issue a refund. When they came to pick it up they had damaged; the walls, and the parts needed to attach to the risor. Even taking parts needed to use the risor which resulted in:
Having to go to the store for the "we can only give a refund if you come in store", and inform them I needed the parts they took. (they still gave me the wrong parts and that resulted in another week of waiting to get things setup correctly).
The main guy became hostile, name calling, calling me a liar (after I showed him that bodewell/GE had offered me a factory discount due to THEIR mishandling of all this (kudos awarded to GE for that). When asked about the price, I could not show it on my phone at the time (hence the name calling), but I did figure it out the code needed worked on my laptop. Ge does have an NDA for these prices and I showed that to them as well as calling GE right then and there about it.
After the last week plus of reaching out to the store via facebook I got some apology from someone staff (still do not know who the manager is, I think this guy was an owner. Owner's name is Chen Wei of Win's Trading Co, llc). No email provided, no phone after repeat asks.
There are numerous other places to buy, I highly recommend Costco. At least when something goes wrong with Costco, they make it right, These people will not. You'll even have to fight for your 3% credit card fee and show them the math on a full return.
Since buying at costco (two cosmetic issues, but they made that right), the washer washed things with no further issues. Even cleaning out the previous machine's issues. Gotta give GE some kudos for that one.
