Appliance Showroom

These guys have been my go to for high and mid range appliances since 1999. I'm a builder and have bought many many things from them. $8000 sub zeros to a $150 stove. They are super nice, knowledgeable, and the price is always RIGHT! Delivery is often a sore point but it's always been worth it in the end. Also Joe has done me a couple really great favors that he didn't need to do.

When I started to look for Sub-Zero refrigerator all dealers were saying that the waiting period is 10-12 months. However, Joe stated that it is available for immediate delivery. Moreover, he had several different models. I was a bit suspicious, so I contacted Sub-Zero showroom and verified that he is an authorized dealer. So I placed an order. The whole process of purchase, delivery and installation was smooth, prompt and easy. I am very happy that I have chosen Appliance Showroom for my purchase! Irene S.

I ordered a double oven from here and got it when no one else had it. (PC Richards had it actually but it was 800 more) Got pedestals for washer and dryer too. Joe was honest and told me the dishwasher we wanted is out of stock and no one will have them for at least 6 months. So I didn't order it yet. It came the same day they promised. It was in delivered at the end of the day since I am in a different borough. No big deal

The absolute worst experience that you can imagine. DO NOT deal with this company. After placing an order over the phone with Joe, we agreed on a specific day and I was told that I will get a call an hour before Installation. The delivery people showed up 5 hours late. When installing the dishwasher they ripped up the floor. The floor is heated and they damaged the heating element causing thousands of dollars in damage which we only found out about the next day. After putting the dishwasher in place we realized that they brought the wrong dishwasher. We ordered steel and they brought a black one. Because they were so late and because the store was already closed they decided to leave the dishwasher and told us that they will just come back and replace the door for a stainless steel door. 2 days later after going to the basement we noticed that there is water damage all over the ceiling and the walls of the basement. They did not correctly connect the dishwasher causing a leak under the dishwasher which caused damage to the basement. Because of the extent of the damage we called out insurance and an adjuster came out the next day. That same day we had to call a contractor to come in and rip out the sheet rock because the adjuster said that if we don't do this immediately there will be mold damage. At this point I contacted Joe at appliance showroom and told him of the situation, after being combatative at first he suggested that they should never have left that machine there and should have taken it back and a new dishwasher should have been delivered and installed. We set up a date for them to come in and take the dishwasher and bring us what we actually ordered. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP 4 TIMES! You read that correctly. After being assured that they are on their way and they will be there by 5 no one showed up. I called the next day to reschedule and heard some apologies and we set up another date. Same thing happened. The third time they did not show up, i assumed they wouldn't due to the snow storm, however i didn't receive a call or anything, i just figured they wouldn't show and called them to reschedule for the next day and guess what they didn't show again. After calling and letting Joe know that this is beyond unprofessional he assured me that they would come today before 12PM. I called Joe at 8am to make certain that the delivery will be there before 12, he told me yes absolutely and someone will call me in 15 minutes to tell me the exact delivery time. 2 hours later I called him and let him know that I still did not receive a call and that it's almost 12. At this point Joe tells me, they are running behind and will be there after 5. This is beyond aggravating as i had to arrange 4 times for someone to be at at the house. That's 4 work days lost! It is right now 8:18 PM and the dishwasher has not been delivered. BOTTOM LINE: Stay away, stay as far away as you can. DO NOT deal with this company. DO NOT give them your business. Go to a major chain, spend the 50 extra dollars and ALWAYS pay with a credit card!
