My father called the store and talked to Craig the manager because they were sent a broken dishwasher. A new one was scheduled to be delivered but My dad would have had to miss work as their delivery times are before 1:00. they were absolutely unflexible with the delivery times as my dad needed something after 3:00 and when he called to speak about it Craig became belligerent got loud with my father and cursed at my father which I thought was extremely disrespectful and ended up having to give him a later date when they should have been bending over backwards to keep their business as the dishwasher was paid for. My parents are long-time customers and I don't believe they deserve to be treated this way I was disgusted at what I heard as I was in the car when my father was talking to Craig and it took everything for me not to speak up because I couldn't believe how unbelievably disrespectful and disgusting he was being. I'm giving the service one star but I wish it could give it a half of a star because I cannot believe what I just heard. My parents didn't even ask for any type of discount on the dishwasher and I definitely would have asked for some money there is no reason for anyone to send out a defective product and think oh well we're just send them a new one whenever we feel like it and that's supposed to be good enough. Craig took no responsibility for the defective product that would sent placing blame with everyone but himself and his store I work for customer service I've worked for customer service over 20 years and the blame goes to you you are representative of this business you don't blame the warehouse you don't blame the people who made the dishwasher you take responsibility and you make sure the problem is solved Craig needs to get some retraining or a new job I'm absolutely disgusted.

I own a business and needed 8 appliances. Called Hawthorne and they could handle an order for four of them. No problem. Except for a 24 hour period i spoke to Juan at the store and got different quotes for appliances I did not ask for and when sent ads for those I wanted despite their policy of matching or beating all prices they refused to even match. This process should have taken an hour not a day and got nothing but issues and explanations of bs. I was also left on hold for 4 minutes, called back and left on hold for three minutes more, hung up and receptionist did it yet again. I would not trust this store for the use of their bathroom.

Worked with David on purchase of a dishwasher. Literally the easiest purchase process for an appliance I’ve ever had. Called them and offered to buy a display model, originally said he couldn’t sell and then spoke to his manager and offered to sell to me with an $80 discount because of a minor dent. Free delivery, can’t ask for a better experience honestly. Thanks David! I’d called several places prior to this and never even received a call back. Within an hour we had this purchase finalized and delivery date set.

Came in to purchase a dishwasher, Mohamed was the sales person who helped us to review the different brands and the features, I was greatly impressed with Mohamed knowledge of each unit and the feathers, without having to look any thing up in the computer. Of the different stores we went to Mohamed was the best sales person and the most knowledgeable about the products his company was selling. Since I am in sales I greatly appreciate a true professional that takes their job seriously. Unfortunately, due to the lack of inventory the unit we decided on was 3-4 weeks from delivery so we ended purchasing from a store that had one in stock.
