Baltimore Used Appliances

SUPER SKETCH that there are 2 different google listings with different names for the same store. The owner of this store - Carlos - is dismissive to customers. (Taking phone calls on his mobile in the middle of showing appliances and watching videos on his phone instead of helping customers). He’s rude and seemingly angry when you ask questions about the appliances he is selling. Prices are not apparent and it really does feel like he’s making them up when you ask. Everything just feels a little “off” about this place unfortunately.

The washer I was received, thus far is working very well. However, I cannot give more than 2 stars because the delivery men were not that great. While I work from home and was in a meeting at the time, I was standing around trying to make myself look available and kept turning to see of they needed anything. My daughter was even around for part of the time they were here. Not once did they ask me anything. First, I completely forgot to move my jeep out of the driveway or at least move it to give them more room. They never asked me to move it either. I do believe they dented my jeep. Small dent, nothing I would sue over, but still there. Next, my front door hang a glass door that can be hinged open. They didn't bother and by the time I moved to go hinged the door, they were already banging their way in. My laundry room where they needed to be had a hanging bag for storage on the outside. They obviously never asked me to move it so they moved it themselves and put it on the floor. How do I know? Caused they never put it back. Now, it's my washer that is being replaced which means water. My floor was wet when they were done... And the water valves and drainage are in my bathroom behind the laundry room. They are covered with a piece of sheet metal. Two screws were used to keep it in placed. They just pulled the screws out of the wall. And again, never put the sheet metal back. The only good thing about the delivery and installation is that they tested to make sure the machine worked. My parents all got a washer when I did and also had it delivered. However, my father just had them bring it in since he need to reorganize to have everything installed. When he got the washer installed, it wouldn't fill with water. So, if you choose to have your appliances delivered and installed, which was not a bad price especially since they also haul away old appliances, supervise everything. The goal is to make sure they verify the appliance is working so that you don't have to worry about returning it yourself or needing them to come back and pick it up.
