I stopped in Sherman's today to check out the new beautiful remodel, and the store looks absolutely beautiful. The new entrance alone gives it such a clean, modern feel, and once you walk inside, everything is bright, open, and so well put together. There are so many stunning furniture pieces throughout the showroom, it’s almost overwhelming in the best way!
They’re currently celebrating Larry’s 50th birthday with a special event offering up to 50% off storewide, which makes it an even better time to stop in. I actually shopped here about four years ago when we first bought our home, so it was really nice to come back and see how much they’ve transformed the space.
When my son and I walked in, there were about seven guys sitting around a desk in the appliance area so I said, “Wow, you guys look really busy today!” 😄 (They were getting ready to close) lol they all started laughing, and a couple of them started walking my way to see if I needed any help. It turned into such a warm and welcoming interaction.
Everyone there was genuinely kind and easygoing. Lee Lollar especially stood out he had a great laugh and was just one of those people you instantly feel comfortable talking to. He offered his help if I ever need anything in the future, which I really appreciated.
One of my favorite parts of the visit was their 50th anniversary celebration display—they had a couch set up for customers to sign, which was such a fun and personal touch. My son and I both signed it and we happened to spot some friends’ names already on there, so we signed right next to them. It just added to that community, family-owned feel that Sherman's is known for.
Overall, they have a beautiful selection, fair pricing, and a team of genuinely kind people. Definitely worth stopping in whether you're shopping for furniture or just looking for inspiration!
