We are "The Howard's"..........My husband George selected Sherman's after meeting their Sales Person Douglas Toohill [ Furniture & Mattress Specialist ] by phone. He represented the Sherman store very well as to honesty, helpfulness, sincere interest. We are a low income family on Social Security Retirement We were able to purchase a King Size bed with head and lower ability to raise or lower with a reasonable monthly payment no other store we looked at in the Peoria area matched this. Brittany called me a week after I had come in to ask me if I was still interested in the washer I had looked at. I replied yes and went back over. She had given me a quote from before and I got right in to see her as soon as I arrived. The process went very quickly. I was happy that the price had gone down in the past week and I also bought a 5 year warranty for a cheap price of $230. I also got the delivery date that I wanted. She seemed to be very good at her job. Good experience.

I had one of the best shopping experiences at Sherman’s that I’ve had in a very long time. Devin Johnson was the first — and only — salesman who greeted me and assisted with my purchase, and his customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Devin took the time to explain every appliance in detail, including the warranties, durability, and overall quality of each brand and product. He carefully walked me through all of the warranty options and made sure I felt comfortable and satisfied with the choice I made. If Devin isn’t Salesman of the Year, then in my book he absolutely should be. He is an exceptional salesman who truly deserves recognition for his hard work, professionalism, and dedication to customers. Sherman’s, you have a fantastic employee on your team. Thank you again, Devin — I will definitely be back soon!

I stopped in Sherman's today to check out the new beautiful remodel, and the store looks absolutely beautiful. The new entrance alone gives it such a clean, modern feel, and once you walk inside, everything is bright, open, and so well put together. There are so many stunning furniture pieces throughout the showroom, it’s almost overwhelming in the best way! They’re currently celebrating Larry’s 50th birthday with a special event offering up to 50% off storewide, which makes it an even better time to stop in. I actually shopped here about four years ago when we first bought our home, so it was really nice to come back and see how much they’ve transformed the space. When my son and I walked in, there were about seven guys sitting around a desk in the appliance area so I said, “Wow, you guys look really busy today!” 😄 (They were getting ready to close) lol they all started laughing, and a couple of them started walking my way to see if I needed any help. It turned into such a warm and welcoming interaction. Everyone there was genuinely kind and easygoing. Lee Lollar especially stood out he had a great laugh and was just one of those people you instantly feel comfortable talking to. He offered his help if I ever need anything in the future, which I really appreciated. One of my favorite parts of the visit was their 50th anniversary celebration display—they had a couch set up for customers to sign, which was such a fun and personal touch. My son and I both signed it and we happened to spot some friends’ names already on there, so we signed right next to them. It just added to that community, family-owned feel that Sherman's is known for. Overall, they have a beautiful selection, fair pricing, and a team of genuinely kind people. Definitely worth stopping in whether you're shopping for furniture or just looking for inspiration!
