What an awful experience.
I came here to check out this store and grab a couple things. It has been a year or so since I went there. I also have these gift cards from work. The sunshine ace closer to me just opened and I thought their selection was mediocre.
What happened to the air conditioning? It didn't work the last time I was there, either... It feels like your 90 year old grandpas house in there. typical.
I wanted to get a couple gallons of high quality paint, but when I told the paint man what I wanted and what I was using, the brand and why. I wanted something good and expensive to avoid a second coat. He tried to talk me out of it... What? Do you have another suggestion? Nope, just a lecture. This isn't my first time painting, boomer...
I told him I was just going to pass and pay up front for what I had. I've been working all week, too. He tried calling me back saying they had good paint there. He got defensive when I told him I didn't want to deal with a hard time and was going to pay and go.
He yelled back at "IM NOT GIVING YOU A HARD TIME!" Sure, chief, have a nice day... I am not there to have a debate. I just wanted something similar to do the job... Talking to me like a child who has never touched a paintbrush is silly for a man my age. Have some respect, you never know the man you are standing in front of. Pull the paint off the shelf, so I can go.
I wasn't going to make a review until I opened the jar of preserves that I thought looked decent. My wife made crepes, and my kids like blackberries. I am glad it was me who opened the jar because it had mold on it. Bummer. Who buys jam at the ace hardware? This dummy.
One thing is true, they taught me "real good."
